Bridesmaid- Beth Leuenberger

Beth and Emily worked together as Community Advisors (RA’s) in a dorm at Mizzou. During those 2 years, she and the other 7 staff members (Liz, Michaella, Emily S., Nancy, Tammy, Jen, and Andrew) came to be Emily’s second family. After graduation, Beth and Emily stayed in Columbia - Beth to finish her Masters degree in Social Work at Mizzou; Emily to pursue a nursing degree at Central Methodist College. Together they realized the value of ice cream, good old fashioned comfort food, and each others company when celebrations were in order and when times were tough.

Beth and Eyad met in the summer of 2003. Beth stopped in St. Louis on her way to Columbia from a trip to Chicago, Beth’s home town. We met for ice cream then went to a nearby park for a walk. It was no surprise that the two of them got along so well.

Beth now lives in Illinois in a beautiful house with her husband Jay (her last name is now Orns) and her gorgeous boy Nathan (born July 1^st, 2008). Elanor had a blast at their wedding (9/16/06) and enjoyed meeting Jay.
