Bridesmaid- Heather Lanoue

Heather is Emily’s younger sister. She finished her degree in Landscape Architecture at K-State in 2002. She then got a job in Lancaster, PA. The town was not quite her speed and she is now out in Colorado Springs working for a small firm where her talents are recognized and appreciated. They like her a bunch (and so do we). Her dream however, is to live and work in the big city (ideally Boston or New York) saving and replenishing their natural ecosystems.

She is definitely one of the most daring and courageous people in Emily’s life. Heather inherited our grandmother’s gift of being able to make ANY plant grow. In her spare time she shares her sister’s love of classic Disney cartoons, cooking, and curling up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and a good book.

Heather met Eyad in 2003 during one of her visits to KC from her Pennsylvania home. Even though their time together was limited, Eyad won Heather’s approval immediately. We don’t get to see Heather often enough but know that if we ever yell “Caw-Caw” in a bar fight, she’ll come running [have you seen Bottle Rocket? good movie].
