Groomsman- Billy Mourad

Billy and Eyad grew up together. His father was in medical school in Syria with Eyad’s parents and all ended up in Cleveland. They have had fights in more than one country (the worst involved a grape Chiclet), played with a toy squirrel, wrestled, etc, etc. They never questioned if they’d be friends in the future (well, the grape Chiclet incident remains unresolved).

Bill is also a Gastroenterologist (but for adults). He met Paola during his fellowship in Pennsylvania in the hoppin’ town of Danville. They’re now in Chicago planning their wedding in early 2010 – WOOHOO!

Bill met Emily at the 2003 annual X-mas Eve gathering in Cleveland. Tired and overworked, he somehow made a good impression (Billy’s such a loveable fella!).
